What does the Garrett ACE 350 offer over the 150 and 250?

Besides the newly optimized DD coil, the Garrett ACE 350's coils operating frequency is higher than the 150 and 250 (8.25 kHz compared to 7.2 kHz and 6.5 kHz respectively). This higher frequency allows the ACE 350 to detect smaller, conductive objects (gold) that the 150 and 250 would have missed.  The ACE 350 also features an improved Target ID system, complete with a full dual scale 12 segment identification system.  You can see that the ACE 350 has enhanced Iron discrimination (last 4 segments) which is a great improvement over the ACE 250's 1 segment of iron discrimination (detect all or no Iron on ACE 250).  The high iron/low gold segment area is where gold chains and rings usually will be detected and with the ACE 250 you were stuck digging up all junk iron hoping to find that elusive gold jewelry or not detecting it at all.   

Like the 250 the ACE 350 offers 8 different levels of sensitivity and five different search modes, making this one of the most precise and flexible metal detectors on the market.
