Overview
If You Don't Want to Fuss with Knobs, Try the All Digital Quick Silver! The Bounty Hunter Quick Silver Metal Detector is an entry level metal detector that is packed full of features to help you find the most buried treasures. The Quick Silver is easy to assemble and in no time you will be finding coins as deep as 8 inches and larger treasures up to 3 feet deep with the fully submersible 8 inch search coil. What about Target Discrimination? The Bounty Hunter Quick Silver comes with a very easy to setup variable notch target rejection feature that is a way easier form of discrimination then tuning knobs. A simple press of the Target Reject button will place an X on the display underneath the target that will be rejected. This feature is useful if the hobbyist is not interested in digging up iron nails if only coin shooting. However, it should be explained that some rings and other valuable items might have a reflected signal similar to the rejected targets thus those valuable items would not cause an alarm. The Quick Silver is powered by two 9 Volt batteries and comes equipped with a low battery indicator. Overall the Bounty Hunter Quick Silver metal detector is a fully automated, easy to use metal detector. This detector was designed with the hobbyist new to the area of metal detecting in mind. If you are not sure if metal detecting is for you, this detector is cheap enough and has the most basic features to help you determine if this hobby is right for you.
